I got the reissue too and the only thing I don't like about them is the elbows on the arms apart from that they are great figures.

 

For what it's worth i have both of these sets. I'm debating selling the MT (haven't mainly because of the all in one transformation) but KFC isn't going anywhere.

I agree; they look and feel fine and I'm really happy with my decision.

 

And... Ok. I'm far more impressed than I thought I would be. They feel great in hand which isn't something I often say about figures from the XTB/KFC brands.

I haven't transformed them yet, so judgement is still reserved but they will look great on my shelf.

 

Yes, I agree. I think they're underrated.

 

I've alway liked how they have that G1 IDW look but still fit in with the toon style characters without looking odd.

 

Yeah they're looking really good. I'm really happy with them. They're kind of a blend of IDW and G1, but I think they fit in really well with G1. Just enough aesthetic license taken without deviating too much from what I want in a G1 collection.

With that's said, I got halfway through transforming one of them and it just did not feel good. I'm not going to bother. I'd rather keep them mint in bot mode and MT in alt mode. I think it's the first time I haven't transformed a bot.

 

Where'd you buy it from? I can't find it anywhere.

 

Probably BBTS, they recently had a restock on Reflector a little while back.

I still can't decide if I want to blow the money for Spotter or pick this guy up. He looks pretty good but the guns look terrible, is it just the tripod divided up?

 

Yes, the guns are the tripod folded up. I couldn't get one folded properly, and gave up on them. A cool idea, but executed poorly in my opinion. I've been trying to figure out how to design and 3d print custom ones.
