I'm just curious, looking at that picture. How does this toy not scale with MP-10?

Sorry but thats NOT MP Quality at all! Just by looking at it....it looks cheap. Maybe the size is in scale with MP but nothing else about it is saying MP to me.

correctly me if I am wrong but Takara is using Ultra Magnus* MP-2 for the base figure. That would made them about the same size. The size was the only thing I was on the fence about so I just may save myself a 100 bucks and get this guy

It fits the toy scale well, but in the cartoon Magnus was shown roughly as the same size or slightly larger than Optimus. MP-22 looks to size the bot mode according to the cartoon (as every other post MP-10 mold does). Citizen Stack is too large for those who have that "scale" in mind.

Definitely do not have the money for this guy, I will be waiting for reviews as i am really curious on how he looks in detail and the transformation. $190 is way too much for me especially since Kronos and Masterpiece 30th anniversary Voltron are coming out this month.

Love the all-in-one transformation; size is good, but I'm not sold on the re-imagined styling (though it's not terribly far off from G1, to be fair). Will wait and see what the official Masterpiece turns out like.

From Yeled who borrowed from Scaleface:

Looking at that, Grimlock MP should be taller and Ultra Magnus just around the same hight as him. Ultra Magnus's upper chest should be the same hight as Otpimus Prime's head. Ulta Magnus should be able to look down on him.

the KFC verson though, towers over MP-10.

Thing is though, does this mean in alt mode is this toy on scale with MP? Both MP-10 and this share nothing mold wise. If the trucks are simular in size, then it is understandable why this toy is taller.

Looking at the scale chart, I also doubth Takara will pull off amour that links to a White Magnus (MP-10) and stay within the scale chart. But they wouldn't be calling it a perfect editon trailer unless it pulled off some amazing stuff?

Yes, I think everyone knows he's a bit tall in robot mode, but the choice was made to have the truck sizes of Citizen Stack and MP10 match up, otherwise they would look silly, and the trailer mode could never carry MP Autobot cars!

I gotta admit, I think that looks pretty bad ass. I love the massive size in comparison to Prime. It looks to scale decently well to me, plus I absolutely love all of the little tech details spread out all over the figure. I just need to know about the QC before I buy.

One feature I am happy about is that it has a matrix chamber :)

It would be nice that even if the cab doesn't transform, they could sit a MP driver inside, and then someone can make a Minimus Ambus style driver.

i'm right there with ya, bud. while i do think it could benefit from a little paint here and there, overall i am quite pleased.

i love massive the figure is.

but you're right, my buddy owns a few of the KFC Perceptor variants and the quality is really hit or miss...

waiting for a vid review before moving forward.

I'm betting more in line with the £130/5 that Scoria went for to be honest so yes, way to rich for my blood right now.

Sorry KFC, I like it but sized and priced for Classics I would have found a way, as a rival to MP02 I don't have a use for this.
