Just watched skullface review. That overslay leaning on the g1 tape was priceless. And the Slugfest g1 tape looks better than the kfc version. I think im gonna get the g1 tapes :lol

I'm thinking about selling my KFC tapes. The QC on the copies I received was poor. Stuff like mouths dropping off my Overslay right out of the box. I'd probably go with the G1 tapes, the designs actually look better to me (that's something I'd NEVER thought I'd say about an original G1 toy compared to a 3P figure)

Kind of hoping MMC will tackle Slugfest and co. once they're done with Frumble and Laserbeak for their remix line.

Scaleface, thanks for posting that review. I also have to say that I was interested until I read the comments and did some homework for myself.

    Back on the hunt.

Glad their back at doing cassettes even if their just repaints.

Still patiently waiting for them to do the Japanese Dino Cassettes like they said they would years ago.

They were talking about recoloring them into Dino-bot colors once they were done, which I would be willing to pick up, but only after they did the Japanese exclusives first.

Last I heard they had put all the cassettes on hold while they worked on refining them to not have the problems they had before. So I'm glad to see them restart the line.

Haymaker doesn't even have that much more useful articulation over Slugfest.

That said, I keep giving KFC a shot and I keep getting disappointed. I'm not even considering getting any cassettes from them unless I see some ridiculously glowing reviews.

As opposed to the stunning originality of "Oh man, what do you mean the plastic's all black? What happened in the factory?! Nevermind we'll just give it a goofy name and release it anyway."

KFC Stinger was a win, win !
I'm ready for more cassettes and KFC has gotten better in many ways on these little guys I think.

Any store/place/person still have this for sale? Only found ebay for 28 shipped, which feels a bit pricy. Thanks
