It’s G1 cartoon scale. Also Marvel and Dreamwave scale. Bumblebee is a minibot.

He’s the same height as CHUG WFC Legends Bumblebee and Titans Return/Legends Bumblebee.

He’s roughly the right scale for MP10V and SLIGHTLY big for Siege.

Classics Bumblebee was oversized for CHUG, much like Classics Powerglide was.

Well I ordered one for $13 off Aliexpress. I love the 3 versions of the original that I have, why not have a larger one? Maybe he will fit well with all the MFT minibots. I really dislike their Bumblebee anyway.

If his face weren't so doofy and if it were slightly smaller (like, actually the size of the rest of the Legends from that line) I'd get it, but I don't need a Bee who's bigger than Brawn. Plus I still have the TR Bee (plus the Takara version) so I'm set as far as my Seige toyline goes. At least until they actually do Bumblebee.

Yeah, I dunno where this bizarre scale fetish came from in a line of figures where Bumblebee, Mirage and Starscream all were produced at the same Deluxe size.

Just make them all Deluxe, and eliminate the problem of scrutinizing every figure to see if it's a micron too tall or too short to fit some arbitrary and imaginary scale.

Classics was a quick filler line between Cybertron and Bayformers. Everything below deluxe sucked, at the time. That’s why there was a deluxe Bumblebee.

It just the way shit is. He is too tall, now.

I’m not willing to argue anymore because, I own like five mainline figures.

Just got mine and i can confirm that it's amazing, if you're collecting Generations and using the TR Bee this was made just for you, great replacement imo.

My favourite part of Flipper is the great head and face sculpt. Kind of a shame they didn’t keep that.

I was worried about the face after seeing the pictures but in person looks good (to me at least), it's very similar to MP-21's.

Guessing there's been no mold improvements or tweaks, just a straight up upscale?

They made the hands rotate and a separate black plastic piece. They made the door hinges on the side yellow. They gave it functioning wheels. I think that's it.

okay, functioning wheels sounds like a huge leap from the original.

He's here... and scale-wise, he just doesn't work. Cool figure all around, but he doesn't work for what I ordered him for sadly.

Also weird that his fist is molded at a permanent angle, and a square peg means it can't be corrected. Dunno if the original did this, but the wrist swivel's nice to have.

The original did that as well. Definitely something that could have been fixed by KBB. Such an easy change.

Received this guy the other day. He's great, and way better than the Uldaman KO (granted that wasn't OS, just poorly reproduced). RodimusRex already went over the more notable changes.

For only $13-15 bucks, he's a no-brainer pickup. Strongly considering getting a 2nd one for the office desk. With Hasbro Legends, he'll stand out a bit on the bulky side, which isn't something I attribute to BB typically. Still cool on his own though. I'd like to see him next to that Powerglide from DX9 or one of the KO's of it.
