    You can see the impact Berger had managing Vertigo, as well as her stature in the industry, with all the outpouring of sadness and congratulations of a job well done from numerous creators since the news broke out. I highly doubt Didio is going to get the same treatment when he leaves.

    Yes, Vertigo went down hill since they rewrote the contracts, all the big creators left for image and other companies so they could keep control of their creations. That was another corporate mandate gone wrong.

    It was bad for Vertigo, but supposedly, DC was losing money on every book until they restructured the contracts. So yes, they did kill the brand slowly, but since they aren't losing any money anymore, does that make them better for it? :p  Ah corporate decisions...
