[Pre-Order] BSL Toys BSL-02 La Hire Hot Rod
Anyone know if the TH version of this is any good?
I would still dearly love a repaint of this with a new head. Preferably in blue, just because blue Lamborghinis are so gorgeous.
Letting mine go if anyone has need. Details in my sales thread and link in my sig.
I bought a La Hire, and I really like the figure. I’m having problems getting the tab on the metal part to pop in the slot. Is that a common tolerance problem, or is there a trick i missed?
Are you referring to the feet?
Sorry, yes, I meant to specify that this is the metal tabs on the feet.
Mine was very stiff too during the first time transforming him but works better later on
Diecast tabbing into plastic is always kind of iffy in my experience. I haven't had any issues with my copy though. I think I saw someone else talking about this previously on this thread. I think they ended up filing down the tab?
The heels are weird because of the spring mechanism; if you don't push the spring all the way in and rotate it correctly, then the metal tab won't line up properly, and the mechanism will feel like it's jammed.
Want to get this figure but only the KO figure is within my price range. How big is the difference between a KO and the original
Don't know anyone that has bought the KO of this, but considering the reliable seller price for the KO seems to be about $60 and the reliable seller price for the original seems to be around $95, and it's still readily available from many sellers, it seems somewhat difficult to imagine how only the KO is within your price range but the original isn't?
I have the KO and oddly enough he is slightly larger than the original. Quality is comparable, but I think the original has better plastic quality.
If nothing else, even a so-so KO of La Hire is bound to still be better than the TFEvo Hot Fire, right?
slightly larger? that's new, could you please show some pictures? also, do the narrower tires bothering you?
Here is a quick, crappy pic. I hope the slight difference in scale shows through.
The KO one is on the left. The guns have a matte finish while the original (one on the right) has a glossy finish.
The narrow tires do not bother me at all. These figures are loads of fun!
Is the KO being slightly taller down to that hip extension people mentioned a while back if they're swiveled and positioned a certain way?
Nope. The overall KO figure is just ever so slightly bigger. The original's guns, for instance, won't fit on the pegs of the KO's hand. Hell, the guns are even different sizes.
thank you, much appreciated
