I mix myself... using orange then adjust with adding some red
Somehow a new factory is going to release this KO...
Boooo just get the original! It's affordable and very well made and awesome.
Didn't mentioned. I can't see anything changed
Quoted for truth.
But is it really a "new" factory...
Could be the same situation around the UT Lockdown KOs.
Possibly, but I'd suspect that KO companies are now pretty wary about trying that sort of thing around UT
Ah, but wasn't there a theory that UT themselves made their own Lockdown KO in response to the KO? heh
already in PO (follow link)

I'd recommend the original as well if you want the quality that is the La Hire figure.
granted, I don't know how this one will match up, but in my experience, KO's of 3rd party companies do very little, if anything, to improve on the original figure. On the contrary, where KO's of official products often do significantly improve on the original figure in some manner, KO's of 3rd party companies really do feel feel like a KO.
If you don't care about that though then this doesn't seem like a bad deal to just get the figure in your collection.
do you know if this is the case with bsl toys that do KO on ut lockdown? is it really significantly worse compared to the original?
Has anyone thought of repainting this guy in a G1 color scheme, and giving it a new head ?
Or doing it to a knock off ?
I've broken mine spoiler. Damn it's very thiny! Be careful when you transform it!
Plastics on Perukill are betters. Which one do you prefer?
My BSL copy is solid but I can't tell the difference between the 2 since I don't have UT Peru Kill as the price was rather high when I'm searching for it. Transform it back and forth twice and everything stay intact with no broken piece.
If you go through this thread you will find like 100 comments about wanting a different head or G1 colors. It's been discussed a LOT, although I don't think anyone's actually done it yet.
I prefer LA Hire. PK is awesome for the time but needs an update, and is way less posable.
I really like them both. Two great looking fairly accurate very clean movie toys that are actually pretty fun to transform. Wish they did TLK/AoE Bee in the future.
The only issue that I've seen on the UT Peru Kill is the back end not tabbing together completely and leaving a gap at the back of the car. Both VT and BSL versions appear to correct this. VT also has a ball-joint neck piece, the split Lamborghini logo on the chest and some additional diecast (BSL might have more diecast too). However, the plastic quality doesn't feel as top notch, the sculpted details are shallower and the applications are a little lacking in comparison to the original.
For the record, I ended up going with the VT Lock Down and am really happy with it. It's a great figure and no one is gonna know it's a KO of another figure unless you have them both. However, you notice a difference when you are handling the original. If you want the full premium look and feel (at least with Peru Kil) I'd go with the original. After having La Hire in hand, I feel like anything other than the original is going to fall short.
