Isn't there a picture with this figure next to challenger?

Considering it's still probably months away from release, why would there be?

Well it is the same company, and the company has both a copy of this and challenger. They are meant to be the same scale, so it's not too crazy to think a photo of them together is around.

I remember I was on Amino once and I’ll remember this one thing I’ll hold close to me. “Even though it’s not proportionate it’s kinda hot that way”.

just a question for people who have bought from either before,
how's the quality from DX9 or Unique Toys?? The most recent pictures show a little paint scraping on the forearms,
how's the plastic/joint quality and all?

My current gold standard btw is Fans Toys, I think they've even exceeded TT's quality to be honest.

Very much interested in unloading my copy of the sh*tshow that is Hot Fire :thumbdown

Oh no doubt, the DX9 is gonna blow away TFEVO and I will definitely be picking this guy up, once my Fav youtube reviewers give us a taste of the product and it's quality.. In fact, I will be waiting on all my purchases until Ben's KOllectables, EMGO, or anyone else I like to watch get their hands on them.

If your gold standard is fanstoys I'm sad to say unfortunately unique toys does not come with squeaky joints... lol. But they do come with amazing impossible Transformations that are intuitive and fun, great paint applications that are hard to scratch, and awesome joint quality where even the friction joints hold very well. I own the other two movie toys that they came out with (Challenger and Peru kill) and those are great! Since this is a movie toy I'm judging it by those because that seems to be a different part of the company than the one that is doing the mp g1 stuff. Still pissed about how floppy their bruticus was

Amen to that! (Quietus is a bad example of painting on diecast)

    Yes, it's a different designer.

If this guy is anything like Challenger and Peru Kill the quality will be very good.

But die-cast wise compared to FT you'll be disappointed.
For example Challenger has die-cast, but it's all structural to sturdy up fragile parts that would wear out fast if made out of plastic.

So despite his size he's lighter then a FT figure of similar height.

Personally I prefer UT's way of using it than FT's.
I was shitting bricks transforming Quitetus to not scratch the paint on the die-cast chest on the die-cast knee-pads....

    As it should be!

Me too... It was a pain... That happens when diecast stops being a structural material to become a gimmick.

I did not know that that was a problem with that figure. That's unfortunate because he looks so good

I have to agree there. Diecast is so hard to keep paint on it, I would almost say that I would prefer Diecast used as well in Structural places or places where if silver metal is shown, it fits in, and doesn't require paint apps.
