If these things ever had altmodes that looked as good as their renders, which look as good as a scale model instead of a cheap children's toy, I'd get them. Firage in production form is just a pile of awkwardly fitting parts with gaps and cheap looking wheels and plastics that I can't be bothered with. Appearance is not any better than a Generations deluxe or whatever those carbots were that Hasbro made just prior to Combiner Wars. I expect this will end up the same as Firage.

Are DX9 And Unique affiliated or the joined just for this?

Pretty unnecessary to be honest.

TFEVO it's doing a nice representation of it, even though i don't like movie hot rod.

But, why a collab?, UT couldn't just release in its R-xx series?, i guess Dx9 it's "helping" UT since they're producing the Knight Optimus. Seems like they want to finish their line faster.

 

Movie Haut Woad? May as well be called UT Yawnotron or DX9 ShouldHaveBeenAStunticon

Terrible version of the character to adapt, feels like a waste of a release cycle too

I really wish this was a proper movieverse Stinger. I'm in agreement with most everyone that "Hawt Wod" doesn't necessarily need a figure. Although if it were a dollar... I'd be all over that.

I mean, it's definitely hot rod, but personally I think they should have tackled drift. He doesn't need to be a triple changer, but if two companies are working together I'm sure it could have been achieved

 

What does the jack of hearts have to do with this?

 

Hard to imagine how this could look better than TF-Evo Hot Fire but definitely interested to see how it shakes out. Now that movieverse competition is ramping up I hope they start focusing on articulation as much as those black magic transformations.
