ACTUALLY, should be easy to make an extension:

You won’t be able to transform him though:

I bet there's room for some clever folding to fit a torso in there somewhere outside of the scorpion body.

On the side maybe, it could better hide the waist assembly too

Man, when people say he is SHORT, they really mean it. Short, stubby, and fat (like me).

I love him and he is kinda fun to play, but there's almost nothing lock in his alt mode, and his leg isn't supporting him in alt mode. Not really a problem unless viewed from side though.

The heel becoming part of his tail reminds me of Mighty Maxx toys.

If you love Scorponok, he is worth it, IMO.

This guy basically transforms like the Mainframe model.

This is the first Kingdom figure that I'm legitimately disappointed in. Too small, too clumsy of a transformation and just all around too little fun in this figure.

He's extra disappointing after getting Rodimus yesterday, who is fucking AMAZING.

I got him today and he's a neat little figure. OK he is very little. Not a bad figure overall, to me at least. I think he could've used some further refinement in some spots.

My figure has a pretty loose left leg at the pin that is pretty annoying though. Any tips for tightening that or fixing it?

This is a bit of a difficult review. For starters, this is my first BW Scorponok. I'm not the biggest fan of the sudden end to the torso to the hips in robot mode, the robot legs in alt mode, or the chest transformation mechanic. I'm also probably going to have to tighten up the stinger as on my copy it's a very lose balljoint connection. Mine also has an absurdly tight head swivel for bringing out the Scorpion head from the backpack. I also ran into a minor issue going back to robot mode the first time, the chest wasn't closing. Turns out there's a click in and back for the hips that creates the clearance to close the chest. On the other hand, experimenting around to see where the blockage was, the hips can be lowered slightly to make him a bit taller if someone so desires.

I do love the robot headsculpt and the entire claw mechanism is fun, with the missiles and the bee, along with it's articulation. Not really sure how to rate it, it really is rather mediocre, I suppose.

He's amazing! The beast mode is a lot bigger than I thought it would be, and the mode really shines!

Overall, it's a fun figure and you won't be disappointed!

I really really love this little dude, Beast Wars is my favorite series and in my childhood I never had a Scorponok so I'm not sure if this being the first version of the character that I own is a part of that or not but I think he's awesome! I do leave him with the waist piece untabbed so that he has slightly better proportions (at least to me), but just like with most of the kingdom Beasts I find the predacons continue to be the more fun to play around with, even if the Maximals seem to look better generally. That's how I've had mine displayed since I got him last week, it's not the most sturdy if you're playing around with him but it doesn't flop around on my copy either. It's great if you're just gonna put him in a pose and set him a shelf, but I'm gonna put some floor polish on the hinge that's a little looser than I like, just to tighten it up a touch so that it'll hold better. It makes him look much better IMO, and allows you to get better poses out of him!

The more I look at this figure the more I think that it would have been better waiting to slot him into the next line as a Voyager figure.

I don't think he'll ever be a voyager figure though.

Big Deluxe at the very most, maybe as tall as BA and the likes.

You're right, I've had a look at the scale chart. I never realised that he was shorter than Air Razor.

I think I was mislead by the fact that the old figure was in one of the larger size classes.

Of course! I've got these two for now, did you want to see anything in particular? Or are these okay? IMG_20210705_203613814.jpg IMG_20210705_203447361.jpg
