He's only being "rude" because people have been repeatedly asking where Starscream has been these past few episodes, as if any of us know. You didn't miss anything at all. Starscream just got fed up with the Decepticons and Autobots and left to do things on his own at the end of "Partners". To do what? No one knows, because we haven't seen or heard about him since. As much as I love Starscream in this show, I don't see what the problem is if he doesn't show up until next season. It's not like there's some law that says that a character has to show up every two episodes or something. And this way, it builds a bit of suspense because it causes us all to wonder what exactly he's planning.
I think Kostyas comment was meant to be sarcastic, not rude. But as he said, we don't know where Screamer is. Nothing has been said about him since he took off at the end of Partners. The lack of mentioning him is actually bugging some people, as Megatron isn't looking for him despite being concerned about his second-in-command knowing all of his plans.
I'm sorry if I came off as rude. It's just this question, like what characters we want to be in the show, whether X info on Wikipedia is true, should BB speak, and should Miko die; has been asked several times. It gets a little tiresome to constantly see threads about the same topics popping up every few days.
This has been asked a lot, and he's probably plotting revenge or something. We'll just have to wait and see. Patience.

It was a misunderstanding. As for Starscream he's probably hiding in a hole constantly repeating his monologue out loud.
I find it odd that people don't like how Starscream hasn't been in the last few episodes. He was pretty much one of the main stars for almost the entirety of the 1st season. People before were even complaining he showed up too much along w/ Bulkhead and Arcee.
