Masterpiece Sunstorm = rm 439. The price in the 1st post is wrong.

Kinda funny to see certain members claim anything from the Paramount franchise is not a real Transformer, that G1 is superior, but then advocate KO Masterpieces at the same time....

That is the normal pricing for Transformers toys in Asian country. Our Deluxe class costs SGD $29.90. Go figure. Add $5 more and you can buy the TakaraTOMY version.

Most Brits that wanted it have probably already got it. So at £60.00 it would probably have 'shelf warmed' real hard in the UK.

 

You can get Takara/Tomy masterpiece prowl for half the price they're asking for the hasbro version at TRU.

If we Malaysians import directly we still pay only half of what TRU is asking for the Hasbro version.


Basically TRU Malaysia is hiking the price way above even the takaratomy version !

 

Ok, I saw picture of the box of Sunstorm, I have questions.

Acid Storm was on MP11 mold, but why Sunstorm box picture show that it is not MP11?

No reason to go back to MP03 mold for Sunstorm.

Is there something wrong there?

These KOs are anything but shitty. If I recall correctly, the Lambo mold uses discarded factory pieces to create these KOs, so they're at least somewhat official Hasbro product. Almost everyone who's bought them has said they tend to be better quality than the official product.

To the untrained eye, you can't really tell a difference. Hell, even with a trained eye, they sometimes fool you.

 

They used the wrong mold for the boxart

 

Interesting how many discarded factory pieces there were to build all these KOs... I also wonder why TT made a bunch of gold Lambos only to discard them all, then watch while the KO dudes come along and release them! ...or at least using the parts from them.  

 

But hasbro already went MP11 mold for TRU exclusive Thundercracker, why they doing a backtrack to MP03 mold for Sunstorm.

Those pictures of prototypes in some countries also shown using MP11 mold for the new Sunstorm.

I am really confused here. Anyone who have the new TRU exclusive Sunstorm verify if it's on Mp11 or MP03 mold?
