Argh, he can't stand up!!!! The joints in his legs (where they connect to the torso) are so flimsy that when I let go of him he begins to do the splits, slow at first and then just falls on his face, lol. I wish I could post a video of it 'cause it's quite hilarious! I fiddled with him for 10 mins before I just said screw it. I was reluctant to pick him up when I saw him in the store, now I really regret my choice. Oh well, he'll be getting a repaint soon anyway, hopefully that will tighten up some of his joints.
yup mine does the same exact thing. Kept him in package for a week then finally decided to open it up and now I kind of wish I hadn't. It's not even the ball joint in his hip, it's the part the ball connects to is actually hinged to go UP. It makes no sense.
Too late!!! Already started on a repaint, lol. The Walmart clerks will probably never know tho! Hmm, now where did I put my duct tape so I can reseal him......?
Lmao! Couldn't agree more. To me he doesn't even look/seem like a TF, not when compared to the rest of the movie line deluxes. It's kinda like you just fold him around a bit and (magic!) he's transformed!!!! -then he falls apart into an oddly arranged mass of arms, legs and torso. I think somehow a slightly upgraded go-bot found his way into the TF universe.
lol, but I disagree... I think there were gobots that were better thought out than this guy. The big problem I have is it's so random and arbitrary that you have no idea when you're finished transforming him. Alt mode is a floppy mess. Hardly anything locks into place. And it doesn't really look like anything either. Bot mode has much the same problem. Even when it's totally mistransformed it still makes about as much sense.
LOL... Same here and I agree with you 100%. I wonder why he's highly sought after even though a lot of people think the same way...
yah, i was pretty unimpressed with soundwave. he looks ok in robot mode and i dig the face sculpt and colors on the chest piece but to call him a triple changer makes me lol.
