i love how vortex and brawl both have the same waist and eyes. i like it when they give team members of the same sub faction similar charateristics.

 

But Metroplex is playable. That's what I read.

 

What an awesome find. I want High Moon Studios to make an art book with things like this, concept art and finished art available to the general public. Who wouldn't buy stuff like this?!

 

Having seen those (wonderful!) scale models, I'm even more convinced that the 'large transport' is Metroplex, I just can't see something so MASSIVE and spectacular as just being a simple vehicle (plus it also has AA guns which resemble those on G1 Metroplexs shoulder).

I'm wondering how his level will play out though? I think it may be something like Red Alert 3s Shogun Executioner level, where the power of your machine is such that enemy units once powerful in their own right are now only dangerous in large numbers to you - imagine that? Tank/Destroyers are terrifying to regular TFs, but to Metroplex they're just insects whose normally devastating plasma cannons do little more than annoy him. You'll be subjected to constant, barely perceivable laser fire throughout, occasional heavy artillery fire which might actually pose a threat, and have Dark Energon Bombers target you directly which you have to punch out of the sky.

 

Do you know Sonic Generations was only just announced for PC and it's due for next month

That makes total sense. If you look back at the G1 cartoon ,which has been mentioned by High Moon as a HEAVY influence, The Dinobots where sent in to take down combiners ,namely Devastator, on a number of occasions.

I hope Cory Burton is voicing Shockwave again, he did for the DLC trailer for WFC so there's no reason not to.

They may just be calling him that because that's what his class in G1 was called. Besides, a literal city former would be simply far too massive to play, so it has to be something more manageable.

 

They called Metroplex a city in G1 and he really was only a battle station. Expect something similar.
