So i had a bunch of episodes on the DVR that i had to catch up on and I am now a believer. The start of this show was not bad but did not have me intrigued but the latest episodes have been great. Especially Prime finally acting more like he should and going to face Megs one on one. I am now a believer and cant wait to see more and for the toys
Welcome brother. But I'm not sure I follow "Prime acting as he should". If you mean act more like movie Optimus then I will have to disagree. I love that this Optimus seeks peace and diplomacy before mindless murderous rage.
Its not so much the murderous rage part. I think back to g1 Optimus and while he desired peace he never hesitated to act. For the early parts of TFP i found that he was just so passive is all. That said it just really seems like the early episodes while entertaining were a little directionless but now they have what seems like it will be a helluva a story they are running with and i am actually excited for the next episode. This is what i was waiting for from this show.
Well your wait isn't as bad as some of us's wait. The last new episode for us aired in Canada a month ago and in the US last week.
I think having Prime act so passive all this time led to a much bigger climax to the story arc when he finally decided to have a show down with Megatron. It made that moment so much bigger. Optimus thinking of Raph possibly dying, losing Cliffjumper, etc. It just built up nicely, IMO
