So how come there hasn't been any Japanese made Transformers movies? I know that there are Japanese made tv series so it seems odd to me that there hasn't been any movies made I bet it would be interesting to see what a Japanese animation studio could do.
You talking animated movies, or movies in general? My guesses: 1. Transformers is mostly a young kiddie and '80s nostalgia fan property in Japan currently, and may not have the market share to support a new, original movie. 2. Bay and Hasbro have been pumping out live action movies for ten years now, and it's easier and cheaper to bring those over. That all may shift in the near future with most things kinda rebooting themselves, so who knows.
