I was really worried that was real for a second. This deserves more than BW Megatron in disguise. A new head at the absolute minimum but a new chestplate and thighs should be there.

    No. Absolutely not.
Its obviously going to also include the T Rex figure from the Kingdom Megatron mold...Why on earth would Hasbro do a Jurassic park crossover without the iconic Dino? That would be a pretty stupid strategy dontcha think???

Wow, I’m intrigued that Mattel is doing better with the Jurassic Park/World toy license than Hasbro did years ago.

Also, I’m happy that LEGO is still doing Jurassic World products that are selling successfully to this very day!

I hope they do a Transformers Collaborative: Power Rangers figure since Hasbro owns PR.

I also wonder if there will be a comic book miniseries by IDW Publishing to coincide with Jurassic Park X Transformers in the future?

Yeah, I will always love the old Kenner toys, but there's no doubt that we're currently in a golden age of JP toys with Mattel. They've made figures I only dreamed about as a kid (Brachiosaurus, Ankylosaurus) plus completely obscure stuff like Siats Meekerorum and Mononykus. And like, 3 different Carnotaurus.

    Hasbro's JW toys were terrible.
    Kills me every time.

I'm genuinely curious if/how that'd work. Since Transformers are a team-effort from US based Hasbro and Japan based Takara. But while PR is owned by Hasbro, it's Bandai of Japan who produces and sells toys in Japan.

It's possible any figure like that would need buy in from Bandai of Japan. Otherwise Takara could get in some BIG trouble if they try to profit off a figure that's not their property. Though it's possible they could skirt around this conflict if the figure was based on an element of Power Rangers that was created entirely for the US market. Looking at the comics, you'd have stuff like the Hyperforce, Solaris or Omega Rangers...

I wonder if they could get away with it if it was branded as Power Rangers rather than Super Sentai. IIRC that was how Goodsmile was able to make Kamen Rider Ryuki figmas, since they were branded as Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.

I hope not. It’s not a very good looking alt mode.

Hasbro would be fools to not seize this opportunity. But I expect nothing but continued disappointment....

I dunno, if the collabs were disappointing enough people HasTak would have stopped doing them by this point.

The fact they haven't only continued, but accelerated, tells me they're likely the sales they're seeing.

Considering how much tooling work goes in to them, that probably won't be a problem. They're working with Ford so it's going to look like the JP vehicle.

    Otherwise Ford wouldn't sign off.

The likely best remold for the Ford explorer would be Universe Ironhide. However, there is a point that we may be missing, Jurassic World 3 is in production, what if the Ford vehicle is a spoiler from that movie?
