I've learned from many unexpected Amazon deliveries... to confront my wife about what she ordered.
Just care about Tyrannocon here but even she is lacking in paint apps just like T-Wrecks.
Guess I will have to give her some paint or wait for a Toyhax set.
So we've got a few answers in terms of size:
Somewhere between Deluxe and Voyager in alt mode.
And just about eye to eye with Hoist, who's a taller Deluxe.
As currently constructed, looks a bit too big to be Skids
Maybe they shrink the shell and shorten the thighs, if this is to be a Skids premold
Does anyone know the dimensions of the packaging? I'd love to display this in box when it arrives but need to know if I have room...
I\'m not sure its worth the price. The set is neat and all but you are really buying it for the altmodes.
I hope it's not a Skids premold, with those ball-jointed elbows. That's gonna feel like a step down from WFC figures...
JP93 looks great, just wish they gave him an actual name. The colors on Tyrannocon look terrible, and the Kingdom Megatron isn\'t good enough to buy twice.
The names are pretty much the only thing I hate about this set
I really hope they don't just stop at JP-93 and Tyrannocon Rex.
Here's another one I can think of: Retool Kingdom Dinobot into the Jurassic Park Velociraptor and maybe SS Offroad/N.E.S.T. Bumblebee into JP-18 or JP-23.
The vehicles from the Lost World would be awesome to see as well.
Still wished they made paint differences or remolded parts on Tyrannocon Rex
It looked obvious to me that it wasn't from the beginning just based on the alt mode. Hopefully that rumor can die now.
Huh, I was really lead to think JP would be voyager scale. Being a deluxe isn\'t a problem, but it does make that price more disappointing. $105 for a leader and a deluxe, even with licensing involved, shouldn\'t have made this set more than $90.
How in holy hell is this a $100+ set?
I was thinking "Autobot Warden" as a rename for JP93. Homages the (former) brand manager and the role Muldoon had in the movie.
The Megatron mold's torso comes apart with only two screws, so we're likely to see a few replacement 3P chests in the future. I hope.
Total and pure price gouging, that's how. I'm still looking forward to it, but my Lord JP93's assembly looks cheap.
The thing that I like most is that the plastic ties that hold the T-Rex in place are blended into the little scene as the electric fence wires.
The toys themselves are fine. The T-Rex is disappointing I expected more then a new head and dinobot colours but I guess all the money went into JP.
She definitely isn't. She's covered in paint in alt mode, whereas T-Wrecks didn't even have the underbelly paint.
2 licenses (Ford and Jurassic park), a $50 figure and a unique mold deluxe. The last unique mold collab we had (maverick) also had a pretty hefty markup compared to his size class
