I'd probably be satisfied with Tyrannacon's robot mode JP colours, but I'd probably like a bit more detailing. The dino mode is perfect.

 

Dayum! I absolutely love idea #2 the most personally, #3 is great too.

That being said, I still really like the colors we're getting. They still look nice. I would have liked a new chest, because Megatron's chest is arguably one of his most distinctive features. It also could've had that Strika esque "burly as hell but still noticably enough feminine" look, but whatever, just what I would've liked personally. The new head is sick enough to be plenty.

Here in my imagination, I was envisioning something much worse, but these look really sharp, I especially love the splash of green. I guess those different color really does help in making it less like Megs than I initially thought.

 

This is my favorite of these. What would it look like if all you did was paint the thigh detailing green and paint the teeth area green like in this one?

Actually, it looks pretty boss changing the thighs to green and leaving all the other apps.



It ended up looking kind of metallic green.

If/when I paint mine, I think this is the version I'll do.

The torso on the Megs mold comes apart with just a pair of screws, so I would wager we'll be seeing some 3P chest replacements eventually. It's about the easiest mod you could do on this mold.

 

Yeah those both look good.
(The green stripe on the helmet is a reflection and isn’t actually supposed to be there, but I think it adds a lot personally.)

 

Oh man. I could have sworn that was a recess in the middle of the crest with a paint app inside it, but now I see what you mean.

The answer is I never pre-order from Amazon. All my TF orders have been through Hasbropulse or BBTS so I wasn't aware of their pre-order policies and someone I asked about it said they do charge at time of purchase not upon the pre-order. The only other time I remember pre-ordering from Amazon was for the Ratchet Earthrise that sank in the ocean and that's all I remember about that.

Fortunately it blipped on again not too long ago so I got an order in. Thank you for the info.

 

Apparently this will have another release but will the deco be the same? I think there was another set that was an Amazon USA exclusive and it got re released and it had a little bit of a different deco. Does anybody remember what set it was?

Thankfully my wife caught an Amazon restock notice and ordered it for me. I appreciate this nonetheless and may order a backup through BBTS (or to just open since the packaging is downright amazing).

 

Looks nice. But It\'s already gone. Most Exclusives today are really Ebay Exclusives. And I\'m not paying ransom prices.
This a hobby. This should be fun and enjoyable, but it\'s nightmare everytime there\'s an Exclusives. Because of this I\'m mostly done with Transformers. There\'s a few of the mainline I want, but every year I\'m buying less and less. Hasbro is not 3A.
