    If it's just a Mindwipe retool then that is what they ARE doing name slapping onto a pre-existing toy.
    This seems a much looser tie to the Universal Monsters theme than say Playmates did with the Turtles.

    As someone who lives jurassic park (and dinosaurs in general) this set is tempting, more than the previous crossovers. The biggest drawbacks are that I already have the BW Megatron mold and I don't think it will be available in my country, so it will likely be quite expensive to import.

    No idea, the press release just says preorder now on amazon and on december 1st at Pulse and select retailers. InDemandToys, the ones that posted first also said they'd be selling it in the UK in December but had to wait for pulse to post orders

    That’s a big if. And we’ve seen some very extensive retools. Until we see the product you’re making an argument that has no foundation.

    They've already said that the amazon preorders were an early exclusive and it'll be available at pulse and select retailers on December 1st. It was part of the announcement for this set.
