Well to be fair, when Ectotron was first released, the price was $50 (which is a 66% markup from the Voyagers retail of $30). At that rate, this boxed set would cost $119.52 ($50 @ 66% = $83) + ($22 @ 66% = $36.52). Hasbro probably figures this set will sell well enough to cover their profit margin nicely.

Looks like a new version of Cybertron Red Alert is closer.

Toei Company LTD would probably have to end their partnership with Bandai Japan and move Super Sentai to Takara Tomy.

So who has a better name for JP93?

I have no problem with that being his original call sign like B-127/Bumblebee, but he needs a true Transformers name. So what are we thinking? Warden? Nublar? Let's fan name this puppy!

Im not entirely sure JP93 is a \'new\'...im thinking its a heavy retool and cad-share from the seige/earthrise Datsun bros with some retooling on the feet shins. Just my opinion tho.
definitely 100% will be getting this.

    Easy. He's Wildwheel.

    upload_2021-6-29_16-12-23.jpeg

Guy arrived on Earth and fell in with Muldoon and his crew. Decided his skills could be put to use wrangling dinosaurs. Not to mention you'd have a good dynamic of his wild west persona and Muldoon's pseudo-Crocodile Dundee accent.

I dunno if it'd be that dramatic, but since both Takara and Bandai make transforming robots it'd probably be much trickier than Hasbro/Mattel.

I don't buy the crossover figures (I'm honestly not much of a collector at all these days), but this is probably my favorite-looking so far. It's cool that they include two figures, so you can create a diorama. Seems like the kind of thing that would make a nice conversation piece. My family actually had a Ford Explore (from about a decade later, but it had a similar look), so it's cool to see that represented as a licensed Transformer toy. That sort of thing rarely happens unless it's associated with the live-action movies.

Love it. The packaging is amazing! Love the head sculpt on the Explorer bot. I've gotten all the collabs so far except for Maverick; this one I think is the best one so far.

I really hope they don't stop at just the T-Rex and the Ford Explorer. I imagine either one of the Hound figures or even Studio Series Offroad Bumblebee could be remolded into the Jeep Wrangler. And since we got an Afterlife version of Ectotron, it'd be cool if we got a Jurassic World version of the Wrangler too, based on the scene where Zach and Gray found it and drove it back to the park.

I'd be really happy if they also did the Fleetwood RV and the Mercedes M-Class from the Lost World.

They should do a Transformers Collaborative Dr. Seuss figure.

Looks like one of the best collab sets yet!

Speaking of Amazon listings, I'm hoping to see the Golden Disk Collection Jackpot and Terrorsaur soon too!

Looks like HasTak \"spared no expense\" on this collaboration.
They \"uh....found a way\" to make this happen.

I've never pre-ordered anything faster. Next to the Star Wars Transformers this is the best Mashup of my favorite franchises ever. 8 year old me would never believe this.

Wow. These two look really cool. I really wish they would have given Roberta (I am not calling her “Tyrannocon Rex”) a retooled chest piece so she wouldn’t just look like Megatron in a mask, but she still looks pretty cool. JP93 looks the best out of this set IMO, but he has the absolute worst name of any Transformers character ever. That’s not even a name, that’s a code. I honestly might just call him “Muldoon” or something like that. Lot better than that license plate name he officially has.
I don’t they they were allowed to spare any of those
Yeah, for the crossover names the only ‘good’ ones were Maverick and Gigawatt, and Ectotron was passable. But so far everyone else, Ultimate X-Spanse, Tyrannocon Rex, fricking JP93, are absolutely awful.
