I have to say I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I think I was kinda harsh on the designs of the kids. Yeah they’re a bit cutesy compared to something as monstrous looking as Indominus or Toro, but it didn’t bother me as much as I thought.

I liked Darius, Brooklyn, and Yazmina. Kenji spent a bit too much time being a snarky ass especially as the season went on. I liked Roxie a lot. Bumpy was cute. Ben was kind of annoying but I was shocked when
    he had his fakeout death.

The show gave us what the movie couldn’t, and that was a bit more in-depth look at some of the Park. The fact that it’s all CGI means that we can see more dinosaurs as opposed to the money put into the photorealistic CGI in a live action film. Some of the set pieces were really cool. I liked the “welcome to Jurassic Park”-ish scene where they zip line over the herd and come face to face with the Brachiosaurus, that was a cool update of the first movie’s scene. Rounding up the Sinoceratops was cool, though I kinda rolled my eyes since surely it wouldn’t be the end of the world if the Sinoceratops got separated for a day. Being part of a migrating dino herd has been one of my life’s dreams since childhood so I enjoyed that episode.

The bioluminescent cave was really cool. The Mosasaur escape scene was also something I figured we would’ve gotten in the film and I was happy to get it here. I also liked the escape from Toro up the stairs.

Oh! And that was unexpected but cool that after the finale, Toro is revealed to be the same Carnotaur that Rexy brought down for the big shot of Fallen Kingdom thanks to all the burns. Neat continuity building.

I liked that the kids acknowledged they weren’t really friends, but they were still committed to surviving together. I was genuinely shocked that
they didn’t make it off the island. If it was me, I’d go raid a restaurant for food supplies and hunker down in a hotel. Rexy and the large carnivores can’t get you there, Blue is hopefully preoccupied elsewhere, only have to worry about compies and Dilophosaurus. But again, hopefully the small carnivores are occupied elsewhere. Hope help arrives before Mount Sibo becomes active!

This is actually one of the things I wish the series was all about: The regular days of Jurassic World. Show us more attractions and sections that we didn't see in the movie without throwing in a large-scale incident, which is why I consider the first 3 episodes on my top favorites.

Wow, that's quicker than expected. I'm guessing they probably produced both seasons at once.

I wouldn't be surprised if three or four seasons are pre-produced in total.

Concept art shared by artists Shaun Keenan. So not only Bumpy was going to be a Maiasaura, but we were also going to get baby dinosaurs including Carnotaurus, Cryolophosaurus and Yutyrannus.

Also not too long ago, I forgot who posted this, but these were the initial designs and names of the characters during development stage. These are the ones shown in the first teaser image from their back.

The final episode of season 4 ends with them running onto the dock just as the ship pulls away. Behind them is a Braciosaurus. Final shot is them being obscured by a glowing red cloud.

The lack of scars on Rexy is annoying me

I was actually kinda impressed with how well the kid could do a live action version of her character.

I wonder if that flare at the end is either Ben or some Manta Corps goons on the island.

Totaly Ben. It showed he wasn't dead in Season 1.

I've noticed a pattern with the Jurassic franchise

In the first film of each trilogy and the first season of this show is all about characters trying to survive as the park goes to heck, while the second film of each trilogy and the 2nd season of this show has characters dealing with people that are after the dinosaurs

Noticed the same thing. I compare the 1st season was like Jurassic Park and Jurassic World put together, and the 2nd season is like Jurassic Park 3 and the first part of Fallen Kingdom.
