I've been sitting on this idea forEVER and finally grabbed some time to get started.

I had a beat up Binaltech Hound sitting around with the roof a little messed up and since I'm always up for a mashup pop culture custom, decided on the newer Jurassic World Jeep versus the old one, more so, I really like the look of the one from the live arena shows they had for people to check out.

My kiddo has been begging for a Blue raptor custom for awhile as well so I dug in and started them.

So far Blue is done! She has a kind of Beast Wars vibe to me overall.

The Jeep is next...but what to name it?....

Love that Blue custom, looking forward to the Jeep. As for a name? Tracker? Off Road?

That blue custom is cool! The paint texture makes the mould look more convincing as a dinosaur and the stripes match up perfect on the top of the head.

That's was the tough part! I painted and out together without the pins so I could make sure it was easier to paint and all lined up! That camo paint always comes out gritty for some reason.

For the name of the jeep, how about something referencing his spare tire? You know, "Spared no expense"

Very cool! For the Jeep character's name, maybe JP? Could be the obvious Jurassic Park abbreviation, but could also be a play on the JeeP name as well.

I feel like I'm doing engagement photos for these two!

What can I say, I'm a huge Jurassic Park/World fan and this has been on my list pretty much since I started last year.

He's a lil rough around the edges and I'm still working on a name for him, she's named "Blue" of course!

One of the names that has been on the list is Boondocks. Not sure if it's a fit, bit the definition is:

Boondocks: noun - "an uninhabited area with thick natural vegetation, as a backwoods or marsh."

What do you think? Throw me your name ideas!

Awesome idea, great execution and Boondocks is a very cool name for a Transformer especially with this alt mode and context :thumb :thumb :thumb
And scalewise they fit perfectly to each other especially because real velociraptors haven't been as big as the ones in those movies. Now you only need to put some feathers onto blue :p

Yes, according to "newest" findings pretty much all dinosaurs had feathers. Jurassic Park was a pioneer in dinosaur science but Jurassic World just went with what's already been there and was too affraid to change anything regarding to up-to-date facts. Instead they created new mash up dinosaurs which are "cooler" than actual ones.

Congrats to the happy couple! They are beautiful together. As for the "all Dinosaurs had feathers" debate, while there is much fossil evidence for feathered dinosaurs, it can't definitively be sad that all dinos were feathered. I always looked at the movies exclusion of dino feathers as they used amphibian and reptile DNA to fill in the missing gaps, therefore the JP dinos are more reptile than actual dinos.
