What is this upgrade pack now? Don't remember hearing of it, I have no clue who made this one.

I was pretty dissapointed by the CHS reviews I've read, and I'd like to upgrade my G1 Devy, and it looks like this kit is great and fit the G1 mold!

So where can one buy this set?

Ebay had it for $38 shipped. Might want to check if there's more left. They were selling fast last week.

Got my kit in the mail yesterday. I put it on an old G1 devy set I recently restored. As megamoonman mentioned, everything fits very tight, and snug. Just the way it should, with no fingers falling out right out of the box, or missing pieces. Contributing with a crappy cell phone pic I took while messing around with it

When added on, can Devastator move his arms out to the sides?

No, no kit yet has made that happen. You'd have to add a whole new joint in between the shoulder connections.

Yeah he can. The new arm connectors have swivels in the joints.

edit: If you mean the whole arm no. Just from the elbow down he can.

    Thanks for the review!

I'd definitely like to see some heels made for this add on. I wonder if we could make that happen.

It would be easy for somebody into shapeways.

Personally I'll be buying a 3D printer of my own soon, and I plan to design and print heels for him on my own, they won't be super fancy but it shouldn't be difficult. It's the first of about 20 projects I have in mind.

If nobody has stepped up by the time I do it I'll sell them.

I got my kit today. All I have to say is this is one hell of a kit. Better than what I expected. Everything fit perfectly and snuggly on my G1 Devs. Just like Megamoonman stated on his initial review, quality is top notch. This thing looks great! Here are some pics..

Do not hesitate in buying, you'll be surprised on the quality that went into putting this together. My favorite thing is the head, very G1 accurate and no more of that finger crap falling apart, this is way better constructed...

Thanks for the pics. They've convinced me to get this set. I'm a sucker for G1 cartoon accurate Devasator.

Nice! He looks great! A bit overly cartoonish but I think that was the effect they were going for to emulate the original G1 Sunbow show. The lack of a true crotch plate is a bit strange but I'm sure I can get used to it.

I wonder how the parts fitting will be for the Encore reissue (since that's the version I have)? But according to BBTS the kit comes with waist pieces that fit the G1, KO, and TFE 20 versions? Can anyone confirm this?

Also, I'd be down for some heel spur pieces to give him some added stability. They don't have to be anything fancy as long as they look unobtrusive and do the job.

F'n awesome! I was all hyped about the XP-01 set until I read the reviews on how shoddy it was, but this...this looks fantastic! Great to hear the quality is on point too. Needless to say, it now sits in my POL! Thanks for the review and the pics all!

Here's one next to my 2nd G1 Devs with some parts from Crazy Devy, I don't own all of Crazy Devy stuff, it's just too expensive. I'm awaiting my 2nd set of JB Devs for my 2nd Devastator..

The last pic seems to confirm what I was thinking - if I paint the thighs either purple or silver, it might not seem like the legs are too long
