Okay, I was just assighned my Junior Paper that is due March 22nd. I have to do it on a career. So my question is which career should I choose for a better grade? It has to have tons of information on it. Child Psychologist or Author EDIT: I need some refrance help too. Not the ones with one paragraph. Also NO WIKIPEDIA.
Child Psychologist. There's a plethora of information ranging from clinical to political to religious.
You can use Wikipedia as long as you do it the right way. Go to the bottom of the page and you'll see all the references used for the information there. Go to each of those sites and cite them if you see something useful there. Think of Wikipedia more like an index with an abstract rather than a source. My vote is for child psychologist.
I can't say for sure without knowing more about the paper, but right now, I'd say child psychologist.
What does the paper have to cover? Child Psychologist might be easier to find information, accredited organizations, statistical figures on, but there's plenty of firsthand accounts of being an author, especially "a starving author" to be found on the web.
I would also have to throw in my 2 cents for Child Psychologist for the reasons previously stated. The dreaded question; How many pages?
All right that's not too bad its only 8 pages long I was thinking you had to do 20 pages with diagrams and charts. A couple of questions first: Do you have to write about these subjects, because these subjects are extremely vague? If I were you I would find out if this teacher of yours is an English major because he or she's going to look for commas and stuff. Are you using APA 6th edition, MLP (that's not My little Pony either), or Chicago? You need to find out because I had a friend of mine she really messed up and the professor deducted around 20-30 points just for the reference page. When is your first rough draft due? If your teacher didn't give you a date for the rough draft I pity you students because when you turn in your rough draft that's when you can start asking questions like : If we give in the paper a day ahead of time do we get an extra 5 points. Do you need a reference page, outline, and table of contents? Reason being because I just submitted my 48 page research paper and I can give you the subject and sub-major topics, with accounting and financial ratios. Yours won't be that long or descriptive because mine is a MBA degree research paper. Let me know and I can give you that information if you want. Honestly, you need to write about something that you like and not just pick any subject.
48 pages? Aww crap. I'm starting my second class of my MBA program after New Years. I'm a pretty good writer, but damn that's tedious.
^^ What's the subject? ^^ You double space, that's one, everyone who really I think gets as far as the MBA your a pretty good writer because you kinda have to be, because if not heaven help you. 2 pages of table of contents, references, and roughly 4-5 pages of finance and accounting statements. If you just write a little of everything your hugging around a good 10-15 pages already, but the professor wanted a risk assessment on almost on everything with recommendations that's what took a long time to research. It was a lot of information, like SWOT, weakness and strengthens, 5 P's, marketing mix, analysis of projection of attainment risks with recommendations, going global, new product or enhancement, capital budgeting analysis for a new project, historical statements with analysis and ratios. There were a couple of other subjects too I can't remember right now. The only thing I didn't have to do was write an "Executive Summary" good thing too, because I was wiped out by Sunday night when I submitted it.
This is for a high school paper. I am considering on becoming an author but if that fails then I want to be a Child Psychologist.
So, if you want to become an author than your major is going to be English in college. Its not too bad because when your an English major you don't need a minor. (What I was told a few years ago, but I would find out about that, don't want any surprises). Question one: what kind of author you want to be there are numerous types. So, if you can find the type of author you want to become you can write about it (in your assignment) since all your information would need to be researched, you'll have numerous references for your reference page (since, its safe to assume you need more than 2 references), and you'll know if you want to become an author when your done with your assignment. By the time you research and write about this subject you won't have any problems writing 8 pages.
I need to type it in 12 point font times new roman and it has to be double spaced. It has to have 1 inch margins. I am being marked on how i type it and on the information i provide in my own words. I want to be either a novel writer or a children's book writer. my techer said only 4 pages but we are allowed to go to six if we have a lot of information to cover so 4-6 page maximum.
