Yes, those sets of data obviously have a bias. But interesting. Where I am June has been pretty damn cool, I was happy about it. But so far July has been just awful.
Well, it's been mid 90's here in Colorado all week long. Finally had some rain today, so hopefully this week will be wetter like it was two weeks ago. High 90's is HOT. VERY glad I'm not going to Florida with my Dad this month. I hate the weather down there.
And today I feel like celebrating that it is only 98 rather than 103 as it has been these past couple of days. Mid 90s would be so nice right now, Colorado sounds nice.
this is why I'm so glad I just bought a house with a furnished basement. aside from the fact that I got to put my toy room down there, it stays nice and cool naturally, so I don't have to pay a ton running the a/c all the time just to stay cool.
Yes, today I didn't have to turn the A\C on in the morning like the last few days. My buddy and I got stuck on the freeway in heavy traffic with the top of the car stuck down. We baked in the sun. It was horrible.
It's funny how the article mentions that arctic sea ice, which reflects sunlight, has been melting. I'm surprised nobody's taken the time to research how to replace that ice, or just put solar mirrors to supplement the ice's reflection.
lol i find the complaining about the temperature hilarious, seeing as i am here in texas and 103 during the summer is not that uncommon
The temps in NW Florida during June have been a few degrees below normal to normal. But the humidity was up.
I have a better question how do you stay cool in times like these. Me, I have a pool at my mom and at my Dad's.
I'm not even bitching about the weather anymore, a friend of mine just finished moving to Austin from Arizona.. The temperature was 116!!! But yeah, its hot in Texas. My dog doesn't even like going outside anymore. He just wants me to open the blinds and he guards the apartment from the inside lol.
actually June wasn't very hot here.but July ...DAMN. every day it's more than 37 Celsius where sun shines. I think that's the first time it's so hot.previous summers were warm(+30) , but not that much
You thought June was Hot... wait till you see Miss September! (The thread title was asking for a Playboy joke.) it's been hot, but honestly, i remember hotter days in this part of the South as a kid. i am still big enough of a wuss to stray far from the AC unit.
No Joke. We ignore science at our own peril. NASA: First half of 2010 breaks the thermometer ? despite “recent minimum of solar irradiance” Climate Progress
