Catalog Sideswipe and Acree get the spotlight in Optimus Prime and Optimus makes a guest appearance in Revolutionaries. And it seems Insurgency is going to begin in August.
Sounds like M.A.S.K. may be ending at issue 10. I can't say I'm surprised though since it definitely felt the weakest of the IDW/Hasbro books.
So M.A.S.K. is coming to an end? Can't say I'm too surprised, it's been pretty disappointing and mediocre for the most part.
That TAAO cover. Please tell me they aren't going to have Whoblade go through some fanfic-tier dark and edgy phase.
There are a bunch of covers with that very unsettling pose. There is one with two Titans and Onslaught with Blast Off. Yeah. It's weird.
Huzzah Sideswipe lives! That TAAO cover has me intrigued, though it also makes me dread Airachnid's IDW debut (heavily implied by the cover with Blast Off and Onslaught). Here's hoping Scott can improve on the character.
Ohhh boy that ROM crossover continues to look promising. Can't wait to see what new designs Milne pulls off for the Cybertronians/Space Knights/Dire Wraiths. Roche usually tweets his latest cover lineart about two isues early, so let's wait a few days.
Geez looks like there's going to be side effects from Windblade's attempts to stop the evil titan after all. Hope that she'll eventually break out of it.
Seriously, that Heroes Sourcebook cover looks like something a teen would put on Deviantart... Curious about Lost Light (wonder if Howling Town could mean we are finally gonna see Carnivac), the rest... not so much. Arcee and Sideswipe? As if there was every any dynamic between them.
Quite looking forward to seeing the Howling Town as that's where Nautica(I'm assuming that's who Rung meant) found a first edition of Towards Peace.
M.A.S.K. ending is no surprise. It is easily the weakest part of the Hasbro-verse. Sad to see Revolutionaries go though. I'd had quite a bit of fun with that book. I mean, it kind of isn't surprising, seeing that it relied on its readership to care about all of the Hasbro books, and even then, care enough about them to be interested in what minor characters were doing. But it explored weird and often overlooked parts of the universe, and I am glad that I read it. I hope the upcoming crossover event feels more like Revolutionaries than Revolution. Can't wait for Shining Armor. Everything not to do with TAAO and LL has been really Earth-centric since Revolution (though not to be unexpected for G.I. Joe and M.A.S.K.), and it is good that we get to see more of the universe.
