Hi Guys, Ill continue to throw stuff up here occasionally but please check my instagram for regular new content (in my sig) My first set is based off characters from the 1986 animated movie (the only good transformers movie)- First up - he was a fictional, futuristic helicopter. A tripper changer with a can-do attitude, Springer! Next up is Arcee. She was another fictional design, this time as a futuristic convertible sports-car. Was she a cybertronian car, or a earth mode design from the then-future of 2005 that the movie takes place? Either way, here she is, during a late-night cruise on the Planet of Junk. Kup has probably the most bizzarre fictional, future alt mode. A pickup truck, extremely cab-forward, VW beetle-style front fenders, covered rear wheels and no tailgate. Still waiting for Takara or a 3P to fully capture this awesome yet akward alt mode design. Anyway, some early-morning off-roading with Kup Hotrod was my favorite as a kid watching the '86 movie. He was the perfect combination of a sleek, wedge-profile, voluptuous Corvette Stingray-style fenders, impossibly wide with fat rear tires, a protruding supercharger, big wing and an obnoxious flame paint job. He won me over with that car mode, and I never held it againt him for letting Prime die! I've heard that this original design was based of the Dome Zero concept, but I honestly see much Stratos Zero in his design. Anyway, a drive up Lookout-Mountain. As said before, loved Hotrod as a kid, but also had a big thing for Knight Rider. Didn't care much for Hasselhoff's performance, but that car! Oh man that car was the shit. Here's hotrod making a run down the same road from the Knight Rider intro. I've looked, a couldn't find an real-life boombox that G1 Blaster was based-on. So I sketched one out and rendered it in the fashion of a retro 80's Panasonic ad. The Panasonic BLSTR 8600. The first epic face-off between Soundwave and Blaster happened in season 2 of G1, inside an 80's nightclub (naturally). Here's my illustration of that moment, right before they threw-down. View attachment 28362131 Prime and Omega, catching a sunset on the Golden Gate Bridge- from that one episode (one of my favorite) And ever since the streetwear brand "SUPREME" became a thing- I've always wanted to make this into a T-shirt. I just need to find a space to print them: That's it for now, thanks for looking!
