DRAGON BALL !
I so need a cheeky teansforming monkey.
I don't see Sun Wukong.
Leftmost in the first pic.
I am buying ALL of these. No questions asked
Makes sense that a Chinese company would make figures based on Chinese culture.
On a tangentially related note, I still wish someone would make a PROPER Star Wars / Transformers crossover, where Transformers characters turned into Star Wars ships. (Tie Megatron! Death Star Unicron!)
Those robot modes look dumb as heck.
Meh... Should have been a Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime....
OMFG!!! Now THOSE look interesting. Even the altmodes look good with that Mad Max vibe. And being from WJ is the icing on the cake!
That is really hard to tell without color.
These look amazing. I really, really wish one of them looked like Goku, but oh well. At least two of these look like must buys, and all are interesting.
I know next to nothing about who they are, but I need the one on the farthest right. That one looks a cool . (please be massive)
Looks so cool!
These look pretty cool, very much wanna see more of these guys.
I can't say this is exciting me. I understand why WJ wants to produce original designs, but I'm only interested in figures of late G1, G2, BW, and UT characters that haven't gotten a chug or MP toy yet.
the amount of people in China, who would be interested in characters from Chinese culture, probably disagree with you. i think they look pretty cool. i wish hastak would make a new set of characters again, like when the various japanese series started over with a mostly new cast. the same bots over and over is getting old.
That's great. But I'm not a few million Chinese people. I'm me and I want to buy the things I'm interested in.
I also don't want to see the same characters over and over again, that's why I made it clear that what I do want to buy are tooys of the G1, G2, BW, and UT characters that don't have a million figures already.
Coincidentally, Chinese people have seen these designs a million times before too, so maybe the would be more interested in toy accurate MP figures of the G1 Pretenders or in Earthrise style figures of the Deluxe Insecticons instead of seeing the same characters from their culture over and over again
Or mayyyyybe a Chinese company knows better about their own culture to decide to make designs based around their culture instead of some niche Western characters that only a few remember, let alone care about
Seriously, I don't know how many literary characters that turn into Mad Max looking vehicles you think exist but these are the kind of original stuff that should be applaud.
Very cool concept indeed!
I love that alternate Truck Ford and robot design, I like it better than the Mustang
