liking em but the wwii ones annoy me...so the great cybertronian civial war was what, 18,000 years ago? & somehow when bee & hot rod are fighting in wwii they even have weapon replicas from that era to match?

silly...this is why it's silly they put this in tlk...if there were transformers around then, whatever side had them, would win with a single transformer...humans would turn into mere spectators..pawns on their own chessboard.

We had already seen that Megatron art, but not as clean. Hot Rod is new. Nice find.

 

So when he posts the Prison bots, who else wants to see more than just the five in the movie? I'm hoping to see other designs reused with new vehicle modes

This was not Hotrods alt mode in the movie. While this is still appreciated, hopefully we are shown his official ww2 mode too.

 

that design is really nice (and starts to look like an actual Transformer with some of that alt mode kibble on the shoulders and forearms), but i am so over the Furby-skull faces. I really hoped after Sentinel Prime and DotM in general they were moving away from that look, but AoE & TLK seemed like they doubled-down on everything about movierformer design that didn't appeal to me...

 

Every time I see Hot Rod's head from this movie, I expect him to remove the mask and it be Princess Leia face saying "Someone who love's you!"... Totally reminds me of her bounty hunter's disguise... This face and his voice really disappointed me for this character.. and the fact that he was essentially worthless to the plot.. but that's a whole other story. I was soooo looking forward to an awesome Hot Rod! Guess I'll have to do my own take on it in Transformers Rivals stop motion series! hahaha....

 

I can't wait.

 

Same goes for Bumblebee. He turned into a regular car, yet his bot mode looked way more like some kind of armored vehicle. Pretty sure Hotrod was some kind of truck too. Who even knows what was going on there.
