I feel like that we’re going to get some news about this movie during toyfair or during any of the comic/pulse cons since it’s coming out next year.

Transformers Animated Movie to Release in 2023

 

I wonder what designs they will use for the robots? Bay verse style, Knightverse or something new?

 

It’s not connected to the bayverse or knight/caple’s universe. So I’m pretty sure that it’ll have its own unique designs

 

They're own probably regardless of continuity, mainly so it can fit in with whatever animation style they're gonna use. Which I'm curious to see.

 

I think the designs will more or less be recognizable and G1ish to an extent.

 

I'm very curious to see who will be in the film besides Prime and Megatron. I'm positive Bee will be in the movie and probably Starscream and Soundwave. But I'm curious if we might get some character cameos maybe as background characters. I do wonder if they're gonna have Prime be Orian Pax before he becomes Prime or will they just have him be Optimus (and not Prime yet).

I agree that they're gonna be a bit G1 looking and recognizable just I'm curious to see how different they will look while keeping that recognizability since they're gonna be more Cybertronian designs.

 

So is this an entirely different movie to Angel Manuel Soto's?

There’s gonna be a lot of characters because it takes on cybertron before the war.

 

I wish they keep Peter Cullen and Frank Welker on board for this film.

 

Welker I think will voice Megatron, Cullen I think will voice Prime but IDK if he will voice Orian/Optimus before he became Prime and got the Matrix.

I know I'm just saying I wonder who we could see (and hopefully not just or only mostly generic characters like seekers or repaints).

 

After watching the first few episodes of Arcane, I desperately want a Transformers series or movie with that level of animation (and scripting for that matter).

I don't think they will. But I think for some characters in CV it works others it doesn't at all. I still wish Grimlock wore his faceplate and visor for more than 2 scenes (one was the end of S1 for 5 seconds, the other for either pt.1 or pt.2 of S2 and that was also for like 7 seconds).

 

It's weird knowing a film's whole plot so early in development; Really kills a lot of the mystery. Too bad Hasbro refuses to discard that one backstory that's turned up in every piece of TF media for the last 10 years, so we can be certain that this film will be that exact same story.

 

But the general audience don’t know that story.

 

I hope the entire G1 cast gets to be in it! Especially Jazz, Prowl, Astrotrain and Blitzwing.  

As for the designs, I'm guessing they will look like they do in the War For Cybertron games.

 

I'm thinking something similar to WFC/FOC and BBM's Cybertron designs (mainly the look of Cybertron and the alt modes). And I do think we could see some other them make cameos.

 

I'm more curious on how the animation style will lean towards, I feel like Paramount animation is long overdue for a new stylised hyper realistic movie like Tin tin and Rango, complete that weird trilogy.
