I want to get a bunch of people from my work to go see it on IMAX after we all get off, so I guess that's my part to play.

Well I'll help seeing as you've done quite a bit already. But people usually don't listen to me about anything, so I suppose the best idea I've got that would work is to run around my local mall naked screaming transformers is back. Hopefully that should do the trick.

The propaganda campaign was brilliant and organized by an advertisement company. People got paid and the fans that participated got free stuff and some saw the movie a few days in advance at an IMAX theater.

Don't call ROTF the best movie when you haven't even seen it yet.
It will be a good movie with great special effects but it won't be a contender for best film.
I might get flamed for this (lol) but it won't be as great as The Dark Knight.

I admire your activism but sadly hold a differing viewpoint on the movie. I will have to sit this one out. Good luck to you tho.

I don't know if you'd get much disagreement on that front, at least in terms of quality, even here. I love the first film and will likely enjoy the second a great deal, but comparing either film to The Dark Knight, in terms of quality of plot, is unfair. That'd be like comparing Bones (the TV show, which I watch and like) to The Sopranos or Battlestar Galatica (watched both, loved both). Revenge of the Fallen could be swell, and perhaps Michael Bay could grow a bit as a storyteller, but I'd be pleasantly stunned if this sequel garnered the Best Picture/Oscar talk that The Dark Knight did for a bit.

Well geez from some of theses comments...
I think we got something good going on here.

Yeah man I completely agree I honestly think that I will never see a movie as purely awesome as the Dark Knight it's just that I'm so pumped for this movie that it's taking over the commonsense part of my brain(lol).

No thanks. I'll watch the film once because it's called Transformers but that's about as much support as I'll give it. I'm a bad guys fan and honestly unless things have really changed then I've got nothing to be excited about.
