Hello everyone! This is my project called Cartoon Sunbow Style - Predator - Character Model Sheets. Description Fan Art: Transformers G1 (1992) European Exclusive - Predators Comments This project I wanted to create fan cartoon style character model sheets based on the toys. I like imagining if they were to appear in a G1 episode and I just love the toys. Here they are: Profiles (below) Collaboration Profiles: Nav Heer - hellbat on DeviantArt Art: John Valmeo Comments Below is fan profiles based on the Transformers, Dreamwave comic profiles called More Than Meets The Eye (MTMTE). Me and Mr. Heer wanted to create potential fan profiles for these characters since they are great toys/characters and it was such a privilege and awesome time creating these! Feel welcome to give me feedback! I'd like to like what you think! Kind regards, John Valmeo
Skyquake is one of my favorite bots. As a fan of Predators and G1 I can say it's a pity they weren't in Sunbow cartoon. Your source books style art looks just the way I like to see them. Meaning they are canon portrayals of Predators. I know this is probably too much to ask. Could you do these in Dreamwaves's MTMTE art style? Edit: I can picture this design as a 3P set in my head lol
Hey RavageG1, thank you so much for the awesome feedback, it means a lot!!! I would love to do that some day when they time is right, so its open for possibilities! Haha, yeah it would be great if they got that treatment, but who knows!
Hey Mindset, thank you so kindly! Glad you think so! He was one of the members of the Predators I got excited to draw due to his sleek design!
First of all, these look incredible. Smooth, nailed the colors, the alt modes especially look ace. I think there's just a little bit too much detail/lining on some of them (Stalker and Skyquake in particular) to completely match up to the Sunbow aesthetic.
Hey deltaprime, thank you very much for the kind comments! I see what you mean and I agree with you. Those 2 Predators I wanted to add a little more detail so I could go back and do other versions, like you mentioned, so thank you so much for the constructive feedback, it means a lot!
Well all right! Sounds like you've got some good plans for the future. Can't wait to see more of your work!
