Given that the bottom line probably says “War for Cybertron”, the top word is going to be slightly longer than some of the shorter suggestions. My guess would be “Mirage”, but even that seems a little short.

 

I'd actually be cool with them revisiting Beast Machines thematically. There were some really interesting ideas in there.

 

I thought this was gonna be the name of the first part of the trilogy.

Transformers: Seige (which a seige could be the beginning of the war)

Just made this crude mock-up using the pre-existing logos for the new WFC Trilogy, and after some thought, I don't think it'll be a Mirage poster. SEIGE seems more likely to fit, since MIRAGE seems too long, especially if the M is a wider font like the WFC logo and not a thin one like the TF logo above it.

Does anyone know if Hasbro has trademarked anything with the word SEIGE in it lately? Or *any* words with "GE" at the end? I'd say SEIGE works the best in the context of a war for Cybertron, Hopefully we find out more at SDCC in a week or so!

It seems Hasbro (and many others) would argue that indeed, you do not "have to"....
They could also argue that it is the 35th anniversary of G1, not the other parts of the franchise. This doesn't mean I (completely) disagree with you, just putting it out there.

 

Prequel really. The first line is set during the early days of the war on Cybertron.

I’m thrilled this is purported as a g1 Sunbow Cybertronian Mode line. I feel like for the most part the video game line of Cybertronian toys was a huge “miss” for most of us. (Eg Jazz too small, thin and cheap, Bruticus oddly proportioned and clearly not achieving the success of CW connection, etc.) Plus no one - 3rd party alike - has achieved a perfect tetrajet.

Hoping with all Hasbro/Takara has learned about design and engineering that we can finally see these come to life after all these years... and some fresh takes on classic, favorite characters.
