Change transformers! With all of the hollow pieces lately, hasbro has given up the facade and will begin knocking themselves off!

Couldn't you have put all of those into one single post?

Well, I don’t think the “War for Cybertron” part is supposed to be a part of the name of the first third of the trilogy, but just the whole trilogy in general, so it’s more like they have the name of the toyline and underneath that it says “War for Cybertron Trilogy”. A one-word name for the line sounds a bit odd, though.

    Sure.

But there's no "of" after "ge". And it's clearly "War For Cybertron" underneath. So the only place an "of" could go would be in the center. But that would then say "Siege of - War For Cybertron", if you get my drift. So no, it can't be literally "Siege of Cybertron"...it doesn't fit.

So, if it is Siege, then it would just be "Seige - War For Cybertron". That's okay but definitely sounds iffy to me.

    That's why

    M I R A G E
    War For Cybertron

makes the most sense. It's a character poster.

Why is he making the “You know I had to do it to em” pose?

    Well it’s:
    “-GE
    War for Cybertron
    Trilogy”
but I also agree that Mirage makes more sense than Siege or Rage. Though, I don’t see how that could fit on the poster, unless the spacing is weird.

    It would be

    Transformers
    ---GE
    War for Cybertron
    Trilogy

I agree that SIEGE, FORGE, or MIRAGE works best. Siege seems a good single word name for a subline.

Personally I am excited they are going to an annual line cycle instead of an 18 month cycle. I think that will be more manageable and easier to target the holiday toy rush. Hopefully they keep revisiting previous line gimmicks once in a while as PotP revisited combiners and repurposed masters. If they keep the master head port and the combiner ports as universal tech for any gimmicks I think old usages will be well received.

Cuz he's awkward and afraid of fanboy rage? :lol

I might be off on this, but I get the impression he's one of the only people at Hasbro that sincerely bats for fans. Kudos for that, and I hope he can rise further up the ranks to get more done for Hasbro's core TF consumers.

False alarm. It was a misprint on the poster:

That's more what John had in mind.

If the "I" in Mirage doesn't feature the brackets on top & bottom of the character font I think it fits the spacing.

    Example;

    M l R A G E
    -----vs-----
    M I R A G E

I too am in the camp of those thinking it's a Mirage character poster. Or that Impactor vs Mirage art we saw for voting. Can anyone pull that image for comparison?

    IMPACTOR
    vs
    MlRAGE
    Transformers
    War for Cybertron
