He truly was a old timer anyone to live that long is blessed
RIP. Transformers franchise lost a talented individual.
Damn be at peace John your voice will carry on.
That's awesome man. Huffer was always my favorite TF. I was at the '01 show, but sadly never really hit up the VA panel, or panels at any of the shows.
sad when two of my favorite actors die rip galvatron rip kup alpha trion thundercracker
Rest in peace, John Stephenson.
I know comic book issues are prepared (and finalized?) months in advance, but I think it would be nice if IDW included at least a respectful final-panel caption in an issue of the former Robots in Disguise as an "In Memory of" piece. Alpha Trion, Thundercracker, and Kup all feature in the current story arc, after all.
RIP Thundercracker, Kup, Huffer, Alpha Trion and Windcharger. Thundercracker was my favorite Decepticon growing up and still is.
First time matching the voices with the person, and he fits both. He was definitely old school. I hope he passed knowing he was truly talented, loved, and appreciated as such.
Sad to lose another of the 'old guard' voice talents. I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet him at Botcon 2001.
John Stephenson voiced some of my favorite characters in G1- Thundercracker, Kup, Devcon.
Such a talent.... one of the most prevailing voice actors of all time.
He shall be missed.
John... rest in peace.
91. Wow! That's a great life! He's still making people happy with this voice work!
Loved Thundercrackers voice.
Alpha Trion's & Kup's voice always stuck in my head also
RIP one of my favourite G1 voices.
Oh no... a very sad day indeed.
Rest in peace
Thanks for impacting our childhoods and bringing us joy into our adulthoods with your talented work. Rest in Peace.
Rest in peace sir.
Just now seeing this....very sad news. Thundercracker had the coolest gravelly voice. Another childhood character lost to time. RIP sir.
Very sad news indeed. At least he got to live a pretty long life.
No idea who this guy is nor do I care but I thought this image would suit the situation.
91, wow, don't see that too often.
Separate names with a comma.
