    Oh my God! That guy was fucking voice acting royalty!
    He and Don Messick practically WERE Hanna Barbera's stable of male voice actors.

    i always thought thundercracker was the asskicker of the seekers just for that distinctive voice mr stevenson gave him r.i.p

    Awe man, looks like in addition to the above mentioned Thundercracker, Kup, and Mr. Slate, he was also Huffer, Doggy Daddy, General Hawk & Flagg (??) in GI Joe, and Doctor Doom. Rest in peace; you did good.

    Sad to hear of his passing. He had a very distinctive voice, and I loved the characters he brought to life, ranging from Thundercracker, Huffer, Windcharger, & Alpha Trion from G1 to all the way to Mr. Slate from the Flinstones, just to name a few.

    Such a distinctive voice. I hear him regularly on an Old Time Radio podcast I listen to daily, and knowing that the episodes there tend not to be more recent than the early '60s (and usually in the '40s and '50s), I knew he had to be one of the older (up-to-now) surviving Transformers voices. May he rest in peace.
