unless he voices a transformer,i can't see that as good news tbh and imo.

he tries to hard to follow in the rock's footsteps and even the rock has some very bad movies under his belt (same as cena). and yes their acting contributed to them being bad movies.

 

uhm no. they brought him in because with TLK they thought that they where making a deep and important transformers movie.

 

Sounds promising. Wonder if he's going to be an actor in the movie or a side autobot voice.

That plot detail sounds about around what I expected. Kind of like they're pulling an AOE Prime but with Bee early on.

I doubt Cena will have any significant screen time. It's clearly to bring in the younger audience. That's the last thing I'd be worried about.

 

if it is true like to see bumblebee toy movie verison of how it trasnforms into volkswagon hasbrobetter get to work if they want good bumblebee voklkswagon figure.

almost shocked they did get batista or the rock those two guys have been in more movies than cena and batista in guardaisn of galaxy movies.

it always was herbie came out in 1968 transformers comic 1987 spike find bumblebee working in garage in issue 1

I'm totally down with this. A smaller, more intimate movie with a smaller robot cast, Steinfeld, and John Cena set in the 80s? This has the potential to be totally Shrektastic!

 

Going up against Aquaman huh. Good thing Vinnie Chase will always be Aquaman to me.

 

If he's somehow Cliffjumper, then the character will have been played by two ex-wrestlers. If he's a human character, I have absolutely no idea how they're gonna handle him. I was more affected when I heard that Steinfeld was joining the cast. It's good to see that Bee is a VW though. I've seen some really cool fan designs of Bayformers Bumblebee with Beetle parts.

Believe it or not, wrestlers are actors too, and many of them tend to act very well, both in the WWE (see: Bray Wyatt, Alexa Bliss, Hardys, Miz, Dean Ambrose) and out (see: Bullet Club, Okada, Jay Lethal, British Strong Style). John Cena, when given wiggle room, is a great actor, and I for one am looking forward to seeing good ol' Toilet Dinner in this.

 

Depends on how Justice League turns out but after TLK, I don't think studios are worried about competing with TF anymore.

Wonder Woman originally had the same date as TLK. Imagine how that would've turned out.

Producers: "Writers room! We need a fresh spinoff plot, lets distance ourselves from the ugly Kruger days"

Writers:"We have it! Let's basically have the exact same plot as Optimus from the fist act of Age of extinction but make Cade and Tessa the same character!"

Producers: "we love it! So original and fresh!"
