Disney and Lucasfilms always intended to go back to the traditional May date, in fact Episode 7 and 8 were meant to come out in May, the only reason they didnt is because the directors requested more time to work on the films, like Episode 8 as Rian Johnson wanted to re-do the entire script in order to expand the roles of Rey, Finn and Poe after they were received well by the audience, after Episode 8 is out, they will go back to May, Han Solo and Episode 9 have been set for a Summer release. allowing other franchises like Transformers, Avatar and the DCEU to claim December

 

How crazy would it be if he is actually voicing Bumblebee?  

 

Well, they could do worst.  They had that no talent hack Anthony Hopkins in the last TF movie and look how that turned out.

All I can think of when there's mention of John Cena are the memes surrounding him and the fact that he played a role in the freaking Fred movie(remember that one?)

I can't possibly fathom why he's casted. He'd be good as a voice for a transformer, possibly barricade or whatever. However knowing how things go where we never really hear who's voicing who when it comes to the robot cast..

hm...freudian slip? did he mean cena would be voicing a transformer?

 

Its not a leak. He got dropped right on his neck by Nakamura and it was a nasty landing. Owens was just making a joke about how tough Cena is to not have been injured.

I bet Bumblebee will be using parts of John Cena's theme song and quotes in the movie.

Yup, can totally see BB and Cena arriving somewhere with BB playing his theme song.

I'm sure BB will at least use one of those quotes in the movie.

A Californian beach town, set in the 80's sounds pretty cool.

 

Seeing as John Cena isn't playing John Cena the wrestler, it doesn't matter. Its not like using his theme song or quotes will break the timeline.

 

Not all that surprising, Cena doesn't actually have any bones to break, he's all solid muscle.

At least, no more than it already is.

 

You gotta be joking, Hopkins is one of the best actors of all time. Not his fault he gave a bad performance in TLK, blame Bay and the script.
