It's getting a lot of media hype - but seriously, does anyone here actually care about it? In my opinion "We have 8 kids! Yipee!" "We might have been having affairs! yay! " ,,, yeah. Discuss.
My wife and I wtch it. It's a pretty decent show, I suppose. Be interesting to see how this season moves forward, what with everything surrounding the cheating and all.
Kate's a bitch, Jon's controlled, the kids are stuck in the middle. That basically sums up the whole show.
I honestly feel bad for the kids and even for Jon. If you've seen at least a few episodes from previous seasons and then saw the season premiere, Jon is just a beaten man. He doesn't want this anymore. Kate is really the reason for everything that has happened. Before the TV show was a reality, she turned down crib donations because they did not match. She believes that she is owed things because the country promotes fertility drugs and then doesn't help people out when they end up having multiples. She's verbally abusive to her husband. She's not even around most of the time, away on speaking engagements and writing books...while her husband stays home with EIGHT kids. The show has driven away pretty much every other single family member. I really do feel for Jon and the kids, but Jon and Kate really did this to themselves. When you put yourself on TV, you signed off on any chance of having a normal life.
I never cared for the show; the couple of times I saw it, it looked like the couple hated each other from their interactions anyway.
Sucks. It's like watching someone's bratty kids, but you can change the channel. The mere title makes me cringe.
I don't understand congratulating people who breed like this, specifically people who have like eight million kids. Think of the.. I shudder to say it.. Octomom. Before all of the stuff about her financial problems appeared, people just showered her with praise and everything. People even get TV shows. It's sickening, especially since they choose to make so many kids when there are plenty out there to adopt. I know these are rare cases, but overpopulation is a pretty serious issue and these people having litters of children are being so incredibly selfish and stupid. Plus they're just adding said stupidity into the gene pool.
Saw them on all the tabloid covers about a week ago. I then watched about ten seconds of the show. Kate got lypo. Ugh. I'm not watching again. I'd rather be watching the octomom. At very least, she might be entertaining.
Jon and Kate plus 8, divided by a 22 year old misteress = crappy situation. My wife watches it and enjoyed it for its realism. Being a mother herself, she saw how the family had to deal with crazy situations and crazy kids. Unfortunalty, shit caught up with them and they are paying the price of fame and fourtune. Either way they should stop the show because the kids are the ones who will get hurt...
That's gott hurt. They really need the time alway from the kids to spend time alone. At least twice a week, an evening with no kids. Imagine how much they spend on babysitter alone?
I know everything I need to know about this show by watching The Soup. I don't blame him for cheating on her at all.
The wife watches the ET segments featuring them and calles Kate very unladylike names. Luckily, that's the most exposure I get.
My wife will DVR it and watch when I'm not at home, so thankfully I don't ever have to. But from what I've seen, Kate is a real bitch and controls that relationship like Hitler did with the Nazis. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Jon cheated. Unless of course this whole affair thing was a ploy to get more publicity for the show. Mo' ratings = Mo' Money.
