This one is totally rockin'. Some nice resolution to the Jon Stewart / Hawkgirl plotline. And Hawkman shows up The episode kicks off with a GL VS Gentleman Ghost fight, which is pretty tough for GL since the Ghost can counteract most of GL's moves. Hawkman shows up and saves the day. Some nice scenes between Hawkgirl, Vixen and GL follow, then a cool fight at Vixen's apartment between her, GL and the Shadow Thief. He's a tricky guy, lots of cool tricks and morphing attacks. He snatches GL and runs off. Vixen and Hawkgirl plan a rescue mission, but figuring Hawkman has fought him before, they go to get his help. Unfortunately, Shadow Thief anticipated them and takes out all three of them in a nice fight sequence. What follows after this is a really, really nice sequence that gives a different retelling of Hawkman's origin. The whole Egyptian Pharoah part is there, but with a twist - in a Lancelot / Guinevere style, Jon Stewart is also part of the origin now. Loads of other cool stuff this episode, the Egyptian flashback surprised me in how it portrayed the deaths of the three (there's blood imagery in the red wine, not to mention Katar *commits suicide* by drinking from the poisoned chalice). Also, Teth Adam gets a mention, too bad he doesn't show up. And the ending - WOW! Things are left open for this to be followed up, but the hanging thread from the end of JLU's first season is tied up. Next episode - Heroes VS villains. Lots of heroes, lots of villains. The final shot of the preview, Luthor at the head of the entire society in an inversion of an earlier scene from the series with the league says it all. (On a sour note, next Monday, when part 2 ought to air, JLU is not showing since there's an all day Pokemon marathon, and the following week there's a new schedule, so part two will either be Wednesday, or else won't air until the reruns. Boo.)
I really hope this triangle does conclude otherwise GL is seriously gonna f*** up the future come batman beyond

Just saw it. Great Ep! I loved how Green Lantern referred to Hawkman as "an obsessed fan-boy with wings and an axe!"
