Another cool episode. This one is distinctly more "Saturday Morning" in plot, in contrast to the darker tone of the last couple. Essentially, the League wants to find Grodd and his society, unaware Luthor is now in charge. Dr Fate uses a spell to utilise the mental link between Flash and Grodd, from way back when Grodd controlled Flash. Thing is, at the same time, Luthor is trying to extract some info from Grodd's mind via a mindprobe. The two forces collide and it ends up with Flash and Luthor's bodies switched. From there, it's a race to get the bodies switched back. Plenty of fun moments, though. - Luthor, in Flash's body, realising he can find out Flash's identity... he removes the mask, and seeing the unmasked Wally West, simply exclaims "I have no idea who that is." - Luthor taking on the League, in Flash's body. You really get to see just how dangerous Flash could be if he wanted to. - A fight in the JLU cafeteria. Spoons, forks, plates, and what brings GL down? A bowel full of yellow jelly. Overall, not a bad episode, but after the last couple it seems a bit of a let down. On the other hand, we do get to see Steel, Dr Light II, and Ice Maiden in one battle sequence.
Pffft. Who needs Cartoon Network when you have the internet? Great episode. It got back to being more fun than dark and broody, which I enjoyed.
Oh god that was a great episode.. Flash Luthor (Flash in Luthor's body) was great. Polaris finds Luthor(flash) coming out of a bathroom stall "Aren't you going to wash your hands" "No.. Because i'm evil." Loved Bizzaro's line in this. "Me have answer. Ever since you plug into monkey's head you act perfectly sane and rational. Am you Bizzaro's mommy?"
The two best lines have already been said. Flash "I have no idea who that is" Bathroom sequence Flash and Gree nArrow are by far my favorite characters in the show. To bad the DCU comics with these characters do not portray them the same way.
I didn't see the ep but thought this is amusing is that the flash voice actor is the same guy who plays lex on smallville. So you have the smallville lex doing jlu lex's voice at one point. I thought that is kind of cool. Suprised it hasn't been said.
It wasn't said because we all knew it, plus I don't think they actually switched actors, just had each actor impersonate the other...
That's right, they kept voice actors, but acted in the other character's mannerisms. Which I think is what wheeljack01 was getting at, Flash (with Lex in him) was technically Lex for that bit. And I didn't know that. Pretty cool!
