OK,I just finished the main story in this trade. Can someone please explain the end to me? They were trying to ressurect Lightning Lad,but really ressurected Wally? I don't get it. I loved the story up to that point, though, and the art was awesome. It doesn't get any better than gorillas racing on velociraptors. :bay  :bay  :bay

While I haven't read Legion of Three Worlds yet, I think they were really trying to revive Bart Allen, Impulse/Kid Flash. Bringing back Wally and fam was just icing on the cake.

Yeah, Legion of 3 Worlds established that Bart/Impulse/Kid Flash was the target of the whole "lightning rod" thing. Basically, his aging was sped-up after the time he spent in the Speed Force, and he would have rapidly died of old age even if the Rogues hadn't killed him, so the Legion came back in time to collect and save his "youth" in the lightning rod for a resurrection in the future.

I think there's a little more to it then that, but that particular info-dump in Lo3W #4 lost me a bit.

Yes a lot of the stuff that happened during the lightning arc is just finally starting to come to fruition in the Legion of 3 worlds cross-over.(And it's been awesome!) Including at least part of Starman's secret mission.

Thanks for the info. The internet makes comics about a hundred times more enjoyable, since you actually have a chance of understanding all the intermingled plots.
The companies always talk about trying to get new readers, maybe they should attempt to make stories that stand on their own a little more.

I figured out from the get go that they were there to get Bart. The fact all that stuff happened at the moment of his death, made it pretty obvious to me.
