Building off of my Jinbao Feral Rex extension set, I wanted to come up with a cartoon based body kit to make Rex fuller and resemble the on screen look more:

Reprinted the full hip skirt, his crotch is now intact.

Final version will be printed in cartoon colors, yellow for the midsection and hip skirt, and red for the thighs. Predakaaaang! =p

Printed the new thicker thigh set last night. He doesn't look like he skipped leg day anymore!

God, I love this! And I'm not a fan of the toon look but this looks AWESOME. Totally fixes the proportions the original had problems with.

Can you show pictures of how these parts connect to the body parts?
    Thanks

Nope, no ratchet. Just an octagonal disc that presses against a tiny little nub for resistance. I'm going to try redesigning the hip joint as a notched ratchet and see if that helps.

Here you go, it's pretty simple and retains the waist/torso rotation. I still need to add the hinged side skirt pieces to the design, just haven't settled on a look for them yet.

Reprinted the hip skirt/crotch section, now he's full frontal Predaking! Just waiting on the yellow filament I ordered to come in so I can print the cartoon colors.

Just unscrew and open up the upper body of the limb bots, insert the mushroom peg on the extender, then close it up. Then just slot the mushroom peg from the lower body into the other end of the extender. I design the extensions to be one piece for ease of installation and also avoid the possibility of stripped screws and screw holes. They're designed with a very tight tolerance so they'll hold poses.

As pictured, the kit I have on him puts him at 18.75 inches feet to the top of the head antennas. But, the design can be easily altered to be taller or shorter than that.
I'm not putting it on Shapeways because it'd end up being way too expensive; I am taking very limited numbers of direct orders where I print them at home and ship them. You can pm me for more details.
