Has anyone watched the enw realty show on SyFY that deals with who gets a job as a creature designer at the Jim Henson Company? I saw all 8 episodes of the series so far and I'm loving it. It's amazing how we get some insight into the studio itself.

Aw, Kaiju, I love the series, seen the entire season via Primewire, the finale challenge is so fan-freakin-tastic.

I've been enjoying all the various creature/costume design shows SyFy's been doing lately (if mainly for the end results) -- this show, FaceOff, Heroes of Cosplay, Naked Vegas... there were some others, but none of them seemed to get past a handful of episodes (or even just one). There was a one-shot about carving statues using pumpkins, ice, chocolate; IIRC they mentioned carved meat statues but never actually showed it, which was disappointing since it was by far the most interesting and the one material the Food Network didn't have a reality show about.

Loved the show. I really hope they do another season.

Anyone else feel they should've saved the Skeksis challenge for the finale?

I honestly think this was one of the BEST of Syfy's 'challenge' programs, but then again I love building stuff and muppets.

One of the best parts about this show was the workshop and seeing the parts and pieces of every muppet imaginable was nostalgic; Like the Qualta blades and charcoal Rygel sketches on the walls along with the rows of 'Dinosaur' skulls.

I've only caught a few episode at random times, but I love this show. I want more of this. Way more interesting than Face-Off has ever been IMO.

The wife and I said the same thing. Definitely more enjoyable listening to the judges, as well. They seem to genuinely understand the monumental challenge of creating something in three days that would normally takes weeks to pull off.
