Looks good from the render and the fact they've kept organic components makes me like it more than the PE one at first glance.

I hope they do a really good TM2 Cheetor next, the original figure is garbage.

 

I agree that the original was crap but the on-screen model is pretty much garbage too. Not sure how anyone can improve that turd without turning into something that strays significantly from the source.

Be sure to mention, due primarily to their rarity, if they do transmetal cheetor they could remold it to ravage (instant seller there) and then repaint it into transmetal tigatron to get plenty of use out of the mold. Hell they could even get a second botcon character out of cheetor by doing cataclysm

If a 3p company comes out with a tigatron/ravage that doesn’t stray too far from the overall design I’d buy both despite owning the botcon 01 tigatron, hell perfect effect doing primal prime proves there is a market for some of the more obscure and rare bw era repaints

Holy shit, a properly organically styled TM2 Megs? And it actually LOOKS GOOD!?

I'm interested. The face will be the clincher but from what I can make out it looks pretty good.

I feel like if anything I'd expect the reverse of that order. Ravage first, since X-9 is so hard to come by and Ravage in genral is quite popualr, followed by a Tigatron redeco and Cheetor retool. Cheetor's TM toy is quite accurate so I doubt many are clamouring for a replacement, but Ravage is not only more rare but not even show-accurate.

 

personally as far as this mold goes, im more interested in a cryotek, i already got fans hobby beast megatron (yes i know its not show accurate, my beast collection is overall geared more toward updates, especially the predacons)

 

I like the skinny look - might be skiinny enough to fit in a Beast Machines cloaked Megatron suit even.

The claws look a bit odd though.

I hope someone Does the normal T-Rex Transmetal - that would be great with the proper play features like a covered beast chest, rotating wheels on the roller skates and pivoting fan-thruster engines.

 

Sorting out the face and two arms that have funcioning elbows would be a good place to start

 

It’s great seeing another BW figure in the works! This looks good overall, I think the only glaring element to change is the feet to body proportions lol. Looks like he’s wearing boots over his feet which looks particularly bad in alt mode. But like others have mentioned, I like the organic style.

It's just a shame that Meg's didn't take his slippers off for the photo shoot. Sigh, these prima donna TV stars and their special wardrobe requirements.

Hi all they got back to me but didn’t exactly answer all the questions  

 

Any answer is better than no answer  

 

Id like to know are they gonna adhere to the actual scale. A transmetal 2 megatron is supposed to be like 12" in robot mode. Just like optimal optimus is nearly 14".....ima sucker for scale....if its off im out!
