I for one, despite the fact that I would LOVE a Jetwing Prime for 50 bones, will not be heading to TRU at 5pm. I will be eating dinner with my family, and shame on all the companies that roll these sales out earlier and earlier right into territory where it doesnt belong. Soon, they will have a X-mas morning sale! Get up at 6am, run past the tree and to the garage, Target is having a 75% off sale!

 

Oh man thats a great price, but then getting involved in Black Friday hahaha no freaking way. Not even if it was $1.
There is no deal on earth worth slumming it with the absolute animals Black Friday brings out.

 

No. No one's forcing consumers to go out. I won't because I refuse to support it. But they force their employees to miss their Thanksgivings, which is corporate greed bullshit, plain and simple. Meanwhile the company CEOs are stuffing their faces with turkey around the dinner table with their families.

People working retail should NOT have to give up their Thanksgivings. Retailers were just fine opening at 5 AM on Black FRIDAY.

What's next? They'll be open on Christmas? And then their employees have to work more "holiday hours" and don't get to have a Christmas? That's the direction it looks like it's heading in.

Essentially the same thing as getting this, plus a prime? I would assume the 3rd party product would be better, but I'm not sure. Feedback on this seems pretty positive.

 

Glad I got mine when Amazon dropped it superlow. TRU is the WORST place during Black Friday.

 

I wish I had a TRU near me for the sale.  

That's the only Prime I still don't have in my collection.

I'm with Silk Spectre, everyone should be allowed to enjoy the holiday. There's no need to have stores open on the day itself. No need at all.

On the other hand, $50 for that toy is an utterly insane deal.

 

Can I just point out that a lot of people on this board would appreciate the date of "Black Friday" being given in the news story as not everyone can mentally summon up the date of the thanks giving if they are not American.

 

If you're not american you won't be able to get the deal.

But the date (this year) is 11/29/13 (or if you're in Europe, 29/11/13)

 

Don't even think about it. Get this. I bought it from amazon when it was super low in price and got it shipped to the UK, import tax pre-paid for under £60. That's a bargain on these shores.
