"Oh, that's so good, Sandra Bullock."

Mad props to anyone who gets that reference.

Did you know ferrets are banned there? For real, if you have a ferret in your house, animal control comes and kills it.

    They are evil people there.

It won't take him long to pay off the fine. I'm sure he won't lose any sleep.

Yeah I have family and friends there, one has a ferret and told me that. I was just like "Why?".

Also Bullock is still hot and I too am releated to the real Jesse James, more so then probably Jesse James the bike builder.

Paragraph four in this article is very interesting:
Yahoo News: 'Monster Garage' host James to pay fine
So are they really trying to protect the environment, or are they trying to offset the California deficit?

And it would be interesting to see what the violation was, and the cost of repairing it vs. levying a fine and doing nothing to solve the actual offense.

I would have to see his family tree and compare it to mine before I could make any real assumptions. I'd also have to dig out my old ass version of my family tree cause it hasen't been updated in probably two decades. But in anycase I am closely related and It is cool to be related to the famous bike builder.

Eh, before anyone gets worked up into a tizzy, I'd check to see what the actual violation fee is. It's only really news worthy if he's paying more then anyone else. As is, if he's running a business, he should be making it a point to know what his local laws for things like this are. If he did and said 'Screw it', then I'm not gonna feel sorry for him.

That said, I think law makers sometimes pull the fine amounts out of a hat. Here in NJ, for instance it's a $730 fine to be driving a diesel powered vehicle with an emissions violation. Littering in a vehicle? $230 Carrying more weight then your vehicle is rated for? $530+$100 for every 1000 pounds or fraction there of. Going the wrong way on a one way street? $85
