It looks alright. But, I get the feeling by the designs that I'm going to be wanting to watch the older cartoons instead. Like, the awesome movies. But, the art looks okay. I just like the art of the older ones better.

The original wasn't that well drawn and it still looks better than this series.

Hanna Barbera did however, have a very distinctive style. Whether or you liked their stuff or not, you knew right away it was their stuff.

While I do somewhat like the look of these, they do also just kind of look like everything else on cartoon network right now.

I’m stunned anybody puts money into anything Hannah Barbera these days.

I don't like the animation which leads me to believe I won't like the voice casting as well.

They tried... people haven't gave a damn about Hannah-Barbera since Yo-Yogi, and that show failed to catch on. The only thing that is relevant from them is the occasional cameo in a Cartoon Network show, or Scooby Doo and Tom and Jerry, which are both getting feature films this year.

Looks neat -- if I ever get HBO MAX, then I'll check it out.

Interesting that they included Captain Caveman -- because of Laff-A-Lympics, I always associated him more with Scooby than Yogi.

I like it. Its simpler, but faithful enough not to annoy me, and it has enough of its own twist to be kinda charming in fact. Reminds me of the old Otter Pop artwork for some reason. Plus, while I don't say this often, I found Chowder to be quite weird and entertaining. Neat to see Captain Caveman. Huckleberry Hound was always my favorite YB character. Where's Ricochet Rabbit at?

I posted about this in the hbo max thread no one ever uses a month ago. Yeah the looks are kinda strange but it's not the first time they looked odd like in 2 stupid dogs. (I need to pick up that dvd!)

They show up in the wacky races reboot like hong kong phoey and huck hound and they did a new pebbles and bam bam show that has not aired yet. Guess who scooby-doo has had some hb stars as guests also!

As for the 90s they did cave kids, wake rattle and roll, 2 stupid dogs, dino shorts on cn, those groovie shorts on cn and they did two big screen top cat movies and some dtv films.

I have mixed feelings about this.

On one hand, I'm very pleased that classic Hanna-Barbara cartoons are getting a chance at a revival.

On the other hand, Greenblatt's style is too loose and flowing. Hanna Barbara was able to get a unique design that was different and distinct from Disney or WB's Looney Tunes, a style that still stands out in today's wider animation culture. These designs just look lazy and sketchy.

I hope this will go well, but I also hope there can be improvement on the look.

Hanna Barbera is even more determined to become the new MCU than DCEU was.

That said, Chowder was really good so this could be okay.

They pretty much had me at Captain Caveman.

This isn't really a new idea. It's basically just a reboot of Yogi's Ark Lark. It even has the flying boat.

Hanna-Barbera died 19 years ago. You mean WB animation.
