Okay, this my first attempt at actually ever doing one of these,so please understand the attempts of Noobness going on here.Lol Plus,I just purchased another one via ebay on which I plan on doing a full on repaint with.I really look forward to that. I found a sticker kit for FoC Jazz here from Repolabels.com. It included a optional G1 retro style to it.So,I thought what the hell.Mainly because I thought Hasbro did a half ass job on the paint scheme with this guy and didn't do the game version justice at all. I dry brushed a metallic gray around the head area and did some metallic blue in a few spots that are so minor they are barley visible in these shots(you can see it on the one arm shot). The sticker kit wasn't entirely clear on where to position the G1 style stripe colors so I did make one mistake with one placement on the Blue part of the top of the vehicle.I referenced back to their website after the fact. You can tell where the white sides make it stand out.Luckily they included a few extra replacement stickers just in case.I used the extra taillight ones for the bottom half of the stomach and the exhaust pipe round stickers for the same color on the headlights.I took apart the headlight assembly to dry brush it the same Metallic Gray then super glued on the headlight stickers. If I remember right as a kid,Hasbro use to include these kind of stickers for you to put on yourself.Wish they still did that, but at least reprolabels has these types of kits available to fill that void.Get a clue Hasbro. The one downside to these stickers is that on the smaller bits they tend to not stay in place too well.I decided to superglue a few on to remedy that issue. I'll post up my 1st full on repaint shortly down the road. Thanks for lookin'.
